Hello, Hello, Hello and welcome, I am so excited that you are reading this blog post today! In today’s post I am going to address the topic of your identity being based on your beingness and not on what you do. Powerful woman, you are not what you do, I know that is a controversial statement! Most people would say that if you lie you are a liar, if you steal you are a thief etc. I say that when you are in Christ what you have done in the past no longer matters because the Blood of Jesus covers your sins.
When God sees a Blood bought believer He does not see their past but instead He sees His Son, who died on the cross that we would become the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus. I get exciting typing this and reading this! As a Blood bought believer I am able to stand as the Righteousness of God through Christ Jesus because of the cross!
Listen, you were created for more, you were created to be secure in your identity. The only way for you to be secure in your identity is to know that your identity comes from you being who God create you to be and not from what you do. Your beingness has nothing to do with what you do on a daily basis. Please note that I am not saying that we can live like hell and think that we have a place in heaven. I am saying that when you are secure in your identity, your decision to live according to God’s standards come from who you are and not from what you do.
Powerful woman, the time is now for you to be who God created you to be! When I decided to be who God created me to be things began to make sense to me. Questions that I had about my past began to be explained to me. Before I understood that I was created to be a builder of people, one who builds people in the area of identity, purpose and destiny, I thought that my fascination with building was because I was supposed to be a real estate investor. What I discovered after I said yes to being who God created me to be was that I was created to take people and areas of their lives that most people would give up on and bring the agenda of heaven to it. The process of bringing the agenda of heaven to these areas would beautify what was once an eye soar or an area of discomfort for the person. Allowing them to go from a place that was broken and trodden under foot by the enemy to a place of power and purpose that was elevated by God. Looking back over my life through the guidance of Holy Spirit I was able to see the priming of the Lord. I was able to see how God was grooming me to speak into the lives of His people. I was able to see how God was using every area of my life to lead me to the place of purpose that He had for me.
Powerful woman, you were created for purpose. You were created to walk in power. You were created to be the head and not the tail, to be above only and never beneath. I am excited about you being who God created you to be. When you are who you were created to be everyone around you benefits. Those whose lives you were created to touch are now given access to a piece of the puzzle that would have other wise been off limits to them.
Walking in purpose is not just about you. Being secure in your identity is not just about you, it’s about those who God has specifically assigned you to touch and bring light too. Powerful woman, I am excited for you! I am excited about your purpose and your destiny being fulfilled here on earth. You do not have to wait until you go one to glory to live the life that God has for you, but you can begin to bring heaven to earth now by being who you were created to be. The time is now to say no to performance based Christianity. The time is now to say yes to stepping into your role as a child of God knowing that you were created for purpose.
