Hello, Hello, Hello and welcome to my blog where I speak to powerful Christian woman about walking in their identity and being all that God has created them to be. Each one of us was created for purpose and God was intentional about every attribute that He gave us, sometimes we just need someone to help us to see our greatness!
The goal of each of my blog posts is to equip you to stand strong and stand firm in your everyday life by creating a solid foundation for you regarding where you draw your identity from. God wants you to be secure in your identity and He is using me to help you see yourself as He sees you.
Powerful woman, your source of identity will change the trajectory of your life. I want to help you along this journey so that you come out on top every time. Please note, that does not mean that you won’t have bad moments, but it does mean that those bad moments won’t have you! We have all experienced moments where we thought we were going to be taken out by that moment because of how quickly it came and how strong it appeared to be. When those moments come upon you I recommend using the following scripture, 2 Corinthians 4:8-9, this is the KJV, “We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed.” This scripture is very useful when you are experiencing blow after blow that was sent from hell to derail your destiny and knock you off the course of purpose.
One of the things that I have done with the scripture 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 KJV, is that I looked up the definitions of several of the words in the scripture so that I could relate to the words on a deeper level and allow it to really penetrate my mindset so that I can agree with the scripture and come out victorious every time I experience trials in my life. This is how I ensure that I can always say, My Identity Is Secure!
This is my personal version of the scripture, 2 Corinthians 4:8-9, “We are beset by problems or conflict on every side, yet not in extreme anxiety, sorrow or pain; we are completely baffled; very puzzled but not at a complete loss or absence of hope; subject to hostility and ill treatment; harassed or annoyed persistently but not abandoned or deserted; discouraged or dejected but not ruined emotionally or spiritually or defeated utterly.” When I wrote out this version of the scripture it gave me hope and helped to refocus me. I love the KJV Bible but I believe that it is important to truly know what a word means in order to have it impact you on the highest level. This is something that I use in my life and I recommend that you use it as well.
Powerful woman you were created to shift atmospheres when you walk into the room but you cannot do that when you are unsure of who you are! You are in the right place if you want to remove the weights that have held you back and cloak yourself in the fullness of your identity in Jesus Christ!
